Where to Turn When You’re Too Hurt To WorkTM in New Orleans

No other place is like New Orleans. And no other people are like New Orleanians.

We’re a proud group. And at Mitchell & Associates, we believe in fighting for our neighbors when they’re struggling.

If an injury on the job has taken you off the job, workers’ compensation is supposed to be there to help you recover and move on with your life. But we’ve seen employers, insurance companies and lawyers stand in the way of people getting all the benefits they deserve.

That’s why we made it our mission to secure every resource we can for individual people in need. We’re a family firm, helping other families.

Dedicated to the People of New Orleans

You can tell when a lawyer has the right values to forcefully represent a regular, hardworking person like you. At Mitchell & Associates, we don’t stop trying to make our community better when we leave the office.

With roots in New Iberia and Scotlandville, Louisiana, Craig Mitchell has lived in New Orleans for more than 20 years. He gives back to the community at every chance, serving on the New Orleans City Planning Commission as both chair and vice chair.

He’s also donated his time and leadership skills to the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission, the New Orleans Public Library, the Algiers Economic Development Foundation, the Tulane Alumni Association Board of Directors as the Law School’s representative, Tulane University’s Louisiana Council, the Alliance for Good Government, the Young Leadership Council and many other causes.

Kiana Aaron Mitchell grew up in New Orleans and serves on the board of trustees of her alma mater, De La Salle High School. In fact, Kiana was among the first female graduates of DLS in 1994. Kiana leads wherever she goes.

As a member of the Pontchartain Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, Kiana organized an annual missionary trip to Haiti that garnered national recognition. The program has since expanded from New Orleans to include other Links throughout the South.

As a member of the New Orleans Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Kiana has organized the group’s annual meetings with the state Legislature and congressional delegation in Washington, D.C.
